Best time to go to las vegas & any tips ?

There is not a very bad time to go to vegas, it is just depending on if you like the heat or not. I like to go around feb, or march it is a little cooler there. (75-85). As for hotels it just depends on how much money you are looking on spending, for me I am not spending a lot of time in my room anyways so I don't like to spend a lot money. And the shows are excellent. They have anything possible there. My favorite one is the Blue Man group at the Venetian, it is funny and good music.  Hope this helps

Anytime except july...its way too hot.  September through December is absolutley beautiful...thats why I can't ever leave!!!!!

The best time to go is ANYTIME!!

The hotel rates are much less if you go during the week and not on weekends.  The town is still rocking, you just save some $$ on your room and there is less wait to get into restaurants and clubs.  

The rates go down in the summer because of the heat, but the casinos are all air conditioned, so who cares?  More pool time!

Just before the holidays in December is a great time to go also.  Rates are down, LV isn't as crowded. Some shows are dark during this time because the city gets busy for new years eve and the shows go back on. There's still plenty to do and still lots of action.  

Great hotels depend on your age and finances.   My fave hotels are the Bellagio, Wynn's Mirage, TI, Venetian.  

If you are young and want a lot of action, check out Planet Hollywood or off strip at the Palms or Planet Hollywood.  You'll need to cab it around town if you stay off strip because its a long way to walk.  

TI, MGM, the Bellagio, Hard Rock, Palms, Luxor all have rocking clubs.
