Best time to skate ???

When's the best time to go skating at ice Sheffield everytime i go and want to practise it's always buzy even on sunday mornings

when you go back to the rink you should ask the people who are running it what time is best to go there when not many people are there.

check all the free skating times, then go to all of them that you can and see which is the least crowded.

What people don't seem to get is that it's very unlikely that someone will read your question who actually lives in your town and does whatever your question is about. People on yahoo answers live everywhere between california and south africa, so we don't know particularly to each rink what the best time to go is, but just in general.

If they have a free skating either during the day time while people are at work/school, those are usually fairly empty, also during the mornings before school is also a relatively empty time.

If you would like to really be able to practice and want to get a coach and really improve in your skating (if you have the time and money) I would definitely consider joining a figure skating club. Then you can skate sessions with usually less than 20 people, for (depending on the rink) 10-20 dollars a session.

Also it is winter which is always the time people go ice skating (even though its indoors and you can go all year round) so once spring comes along, the ice sessions will be a lot less crowded, and you'll have more room to skate.

Early morning is best because you won't find many people with the inniative to wake up that early. Another good time would be if they have public skating sessions during the school day. It might not work for you to leave school early or leave and come back, but that's when I go at my rink. It's about 6 bucks instead of 15 and there are only a couple people skating.
