  1. The first and last weekend of Oktoberfest are the most crowded (and the trains to and from Munich are the most crowded).  I would definitely recommend it though!


  2. Last two weeks of Sept until the 1st week of October. Book well in advance, as hotels and flights fill up fast. Earlier is better, as the weather is nicer in mid-September.

  3. that would be near the end of September, when Oktoberfest starts.
