  1. The only thing that stops mine is a travel sickness table. I swear by Kwells.

  2. Look at the road through the middle of the seats and suck mints and eat ginger biscuits.  Works every time for me and I suffer with travel sickness quite a lot.  Make sure the window is open for plenty of fresh air and have a chat to keep your mind off it.  DO NOT read, have alcohol or a greasy breakfast before travelling.  Hope it helps.

  3. dont travel!

  4. mints and fresh air (air conditioning if there is a lot of traffic)

  5. My daughter has bad travel sickness all the time, i tried lots off different tablets even the wrist band and out off all them the only one that worked for her and are great are Boots own brand off travel sickness tablets they are a god send, they are for Adults as well kids just take half, so give them ago

Good luck i know how bad it can be :-)

  6. You have been given some good advice already, the only other advice I can give is to use breathing exercises to relax.  Tension and stress used to give me terrible carsickness.

  7. My sister uses these travel sickness bands that go around her wrists and they work a treat.

  8. Motion sickness is caused by a conflict between your inner ear sensing motion but your eyes not seeing motion. Things like reading books, where you're not looking at motion will cause you to get motion sickness. The best thing to do is simply look at the scenery around you as it goes by. This will eliminate the conflict and will keep you well.

  9. Dramamine

  10. Try to sit where you can look out of the front windshield. You want to try and have your eyes seeing the motion that your inner ear senses; try looking towards the horizon...off in the distance...through the front windshield.

Do not read, play electronic games, watch videos or anything similar while the car is in motion.

Avoid very heavy meals while traveling.

Hard candies, like peppermint Lifesavers sometimes help me ease or avoid the quesiness.

Ask your mom to get you some medicine to take. Usually taking the motion sick pill about 30 minutes before you get in the car is best. Antivert, Bonine, Dramamine can be bought without a prescription.

Sitting in the front seat, or better yet driving, helps prevent motion sickness.

I feel for you; I've been prone to motion sickness all my life. It's better now, because of all the traveling I've done my brain is better able to cope with the motion. Good luck to you!

  11. As a teacher I have taken lots of children on trips and whenever a child felt sick I sat them on newspaper and they were NEVER sick. Try it.
