  1. omg im a swimmer, and honestly everything helps. Push-ups and crunches are always good. but if u wanna do something more fun then i would suggest biking. it is rele great for building muscle in your legs and it helps your knees. 9especially if u r a breaststroker!) good luck this year!!

  2. I am the fastest on my team i make up my own cool flexi moves and i practice that a daily routine 3 times a day it works and talk to your couch about getting extra practice I am on swim team to and good luck with the meets and races!

  3. make sure u stretch a lot.

frog jumps are good for breastroke do them in ur basement or something

    pushups r good 2

running helps build up your stamina...

  4. The absolutely best thing you can do is get stretch chords, which are basically surgical tubing. Wrap them around something so they stay on and don't fly back at you, and you can do a lot of shoulder exercises. While this builds muscle, it also greatly helps injury prevention. If you ever injure a shoulder muscle, this is one of the first things that the therapist will tell you to do. Besides the stretch chords, any type of ab exercise is excellent, since your core muscles (abs, back, chest) are among the most important for swimming. Try full sit-ups, crunches, planks (get in the push up position, but instead of your hands on the ground, put your forearms), leg lifts (on your back, lift your legs to 90 degrees), and scissor kicking (on your back, lift your legs one at a time, like your kicking on your back). The goal for swimmers though, is not to build a lot of bulky muscle, but add strength. You don't see many swimmers that look like body builders.

  5. Well imma natural born swimmer(not literally but i learned by my self)Im Also in track(the exercises are the same cuz they have to do with speed)

Okay speed is what is important. Make sure you stretch your muscles.

This exercise builds muscles in your ham string and core

Lay down on your belly. Put your hands together like your praying(or the way your would on a school desk in a fist)

Put your toes up like you were going to do push-ups. Then just stay there(and dont come down) Do this 5 minutes at a time.

Squats help your ham string. Do ten up downs( like a frog..i know it seems kiddish but it helps)

This here is for the arms. Go by a bench(or a low couch)  like your sitting down on the arm rest but put your hands there. move your bottom from the arm rest and bend your knees. push your-self up and down (like backwards push ups on a couch.

    good luck!!!!
