  1. what does Yamaha recomend?

  2. Well first of all..."best ride" and "longest lasting" are two seperate catagories requireing two different tires. Now if you meant what kind of tire is the best all around tire that gives good wet traction, dry traction, handling and mileage then the Dunlops are pretty good. They also are one of the cheapest. Also I just put Pirellies on mine and I think they're equal to, or better then, the Dunlop in all catagories. Except....I expect them to last a little longer.

Metzlers are a good handling higher miliage tire but are poor for wet traction and are expensive.

  3. Try MRF they give better grip and stability...........

  4. The Metzler ME 880 has a good tread pattern and a harder compound.

They stick fairly well for a high mileage tire.
