I am looking for a good tropical vacationn spot for 2 weeks in april of '09. I have been to Hawaii the US virgin islands, mexico, costa Rica, and Panama, and I am looking for something smiliar. I would be traveling with my parents, but also my friends. We are teenagers, but we are looking for something wild, not a toursity place. Any ideas will be very much appreciated.

  2. Nicaragua is pretty much still an undiscovered country.  You got places like Ometepe Island on lake Cocibolca.  It boast great flora and fauna and twin volcanoes - one active and one inactive filled with water.  Cocibolca lake boast almost 400 islands and it is the only fresh water lake in the world to have sharks.  You can go to places like Selva Negra, Corn Island and Little Corn Island, and the wonderful colonial towns of Granada and Leon -- all these places are in Nicaragua.  go to www.Nicaragua.com to find out more about these magnificent places.

  3. I'd like to mount a campaign to encourage people not to go anywhere. Travel has become so expensive and unpleasant that it's hard to understand why people don't stay home.

Why are we crowding our highways and airports to get someplace else? Newspapers and magazines are filled with ads trying to get us to travel. They want us to go somewhere - anywhere but home.

  4. Go to Belilze. There is a large part of the population that speaks English its generally safe. Roatan is also nice and fantasy island resort was recently updated and isnt bad.

As for Idaho Taz.. cmon.. to see anything nice in Idaho you have to travel.. Idaho Falls  to Yellowstone is 3+ hours, Boise to Stanley is 2, Boise to Salmon is 4, Boise to Silver City is 2. Cmon..to see anything you have to travel..
