Best type of bike?

What is the best bike right now? [ not a motorbike]. and not a chopper or mountain.

for bmx well is you wanna go cheap u can get dk stepup for dirt bmx and thats wat i have but i put get on it and i ride park to and i also like the kink bikes! if you wanna go expencive i like the fit pro, team, and trail

It all depends on the type of riding you do. If its all terrain you want a mountain bike. If its street and you want show go with the chopper. If you want durability get the mountain bike. Its something you want to evaluate.

Go to your local bike shop, If there is one near you.  Tell them what type of riding you will be doing, give them your budget,  and they will point the way.  stay away from department stores, sports shops, and ebay (unless you know the make, model and size). The bike shop will help get the size right.  if the bike doesn't fit, the bike will be uncomfortable and even painful to ride for long periods.  Look for a quality brand and be honest with the sales person and they will steer you to the right bike.
