  1. My sons have the crf250r and race them very successfully.  You are quite tall so should have no problems throwing that around.  I quite like the 250yzf as well as they are a reliable bike.  We used to have Kawasaki's and my boys were sponsored by them but found that you needed to spend heaps more on them to get them anywhere near as good a bike as the Honda's Yamaha's and KTM's.  I guess the pro riders who do do well on them don't have to worry about the money spent on the bike, but everyone else does.

But for a C Grade rider the Kawasaki would have as much power as you could need and if that is what you are a Kawasaki would be another good choice and possibly cheaper.

  2. the crf 250 is the best

  3. I don't belive this. Cheers to Auburn's answer.

  4. ok Honda 250R, KX 250, Yz 250 are not 4 strokes. they are 2 strokes.

it would be Honda Cr250F, KXF 250, YZF250.

Ktm is the best for some. Others it's Yamaha or Honda. But Kawasaki and Suzuki are just garbage.

  5. CRF250 I had a CRF450 and I had no problem out of it Hondas are the best out there.

  6. Yamaha YZ250F  is a four stroke

get that, in my opinion the best all around 4 stroke, for racing, or anything for that matter on the market right now

  7. dude cr250f best bike ever last forever and are so fun hands down the best bike ever. All are good but honda is my favorite.

And bro 2 strokes are awesome dude if you get one take it out into an open feild or desert and just full throttle it best time of my life man. Nothing like it.

  8. Yamaha YZF 250 or Honda CRF 250R are the best to look for. Suzuki is right behind them. Kawasaki 4 strokes suck. Dude you don't know what your missing. 2 strokes are wicked. but honda or yamaha are the best and most reliable.

And James V, yes Villopotto and James stewart are great racers. But from past knowledge and experiences with kawasaki 4 strokes, they have been crappy. They Cause-you-to-walky. Sorry bro, but Kawi 2 strokes are what keeps kawi going. There 2 strokes are amazing.

  9. east coast assasin how can u say kawasaki's are garbage ?

villipoto and townley won nearly every moto on them last year

as far as the question goes ktm, honda, kawasaki, yamaha, husquvarna and tm all make good competetive fourstroke mx bikes that can  win races

personally i like the kawasakis and the hondas the best but its just what you feel comftable on at 6'2" i would probley go for a kawasaki or ktm as they feel the tallest the honda seems to feel small

mike people like you really know nothing how you can even try and say that kawasaki fourstrokes arnt good is just stupid they win races all around the world and are most magazines bike of the year you clearly are not really into motocross racing and if any kawasaki is weak its the two strokes so i dont know how you can claim thats what keeps them going.

and auburn sorry but your wrong too if you look at the dyno results of all the bikes the kawasaki is second only to ktm and has a much stronger motor than a honda trust me i had hondas from 04-07 and although they handel the engine is week and i had to do a lot to get it to be competetive at national level

  10. Ok you want to race in the 250 class on a four stroke then get a crf 450 or the yamaha 450. If you want to race in the 125 class or lite class on a fourstroke then get a 250 crf Honda or the Yamaha even though its powered down this year.  the kawasaki and suzuki are the same bike with different names and graphics. Go here to read about them.
