Digital or tape?

should be easy to use

Slim, compact

Transferable to pc or cd or pendrive etc

more free space available

duration (how long it can record)

the clearness ( how ell it records )

If you have access to computer and a headset( microphone) , you can use a free program called sound recorder.  You can use the desired length on your preference.
