  1. A lot of schools (mostly your larger four year institutions) have good marine biology programs (obviously especially those that are along the coast).  I have several degrees myself (two in wildlife management, and one in fisheries management).  Perhaps what will be most useful to you is finding a school that will not only have you graduate with a degree in the field, but also have you meet the requirements to be a certified wetland scientist.  More information on becoming a certified wetland scientist can be found at this website  http://sws.org/  and also at  http://www.wetlandcert.org/

I myself an a certified wildlife biologist (through the wildlife society) and a fisheries biologist (through the fisheries society).  These certifications can speak as loudly if not louder than a degree, because they mean that I have the knowledge and experience that is nationally recognized to show that I know what I'm doing.  Good luck, but definitely look into a good quality school and if possible one that will help you get the degree but will also meet the educational requirements to become a certified wetland scientist!

  2. Try Texas A&M at Galveston.  The Department of Marine Biology (MARB) offers its undergraduates three degree programs and one certificate program in a unique coastal setting.
