  1. I like San Francisco.  It is a big city, but is easy to get around in, and has plenty to do.  Don't bother getting a rental car, just use the mass transit system.  Try to find a hotel near downtown around Market street.

If you like a slower pace, try Santa Barbara.  Small town, but it's usually jumping on State street on the weekends.  They always have some sort of festival going on, too.  Summer Solstice festival in June is the big one, though.  I will actually be there this year for that one.  There are also plenty of wineries near by and lots of spectacular views when driving around.  Get a convertible as a rental for this one.

Hope you have a good time wheverer you decide to go!

  2. San Diego...Mission Bay is always nice...But Southern California is the bomb!...Laguna Beach, Corona Del Mar. Newport Beach,,Balboa Fun Zone, just ride the Pacific Coast  Highway all the way San Fransisco...there are lots of thing to do there...and a great road trip...!

  3. Go to Boston, MA which is an amazing city and then take a ferry across to Cape Cod while dolphins swim beside you and the largest most beautiful orange sun sets.  It is a really amazing place to visit.  (The Kennedy family had their Summer home there).

  4. New York best ever in the world!

  5. Best places for me:

Calaveras Big Trees State Park, Caliveras County, CA

    Washington D.C.

    Zion National Park, UT

  6. have an amazing time!

  7. Washington D.C.

  8. Here's a couple (I haven't been many places!):

    Key West, FL

    Shenandoah National Park, VA

    Rehoboth Beach, DE

    New York, NY

    Albany / Saratoga Springs, NY

    Chatanooga, TN

(Not all are "Vacation" cities, but I've taken vacations there!

  9. I've only been in Miami (nice, beautiful place), Orlando (Disney World totally rocks), NYC (no comments, just awesome!!), Boston (nice, I loved the old architecture), Hampton (pretty, but nothing to do), and Chicago (my 2nd favorite city in the world, after my hometown. Beautiful any season, awesome night life, downtown rocks, summer at the lake is just amazing!)

I'd love to go California, all of it, Las Vegas (of course), Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls...

  10. Napa valley is great, but better if you like wine. And San Francisco is neat too, right next door.

I really enjoyed Tampa as well.

I want to do a southwest trip next, grand canyon/taos, etc...

  11. For me it's Bryce Canyon in Utah.  Amazing.  Being from the northeast I had never seen anything like it before.  Enjoy you're trip.
