Resident Evil 5 isn't out yet. It's not even going to be out this year.

And GTA IV has terrible graphics.

For level detail: MGS4, but its character detailing (especially in faces) is horrible.

SoulCalibur IV has amazing characters as well. So, I'd have to nominate SC4 just based on that. Some of the best character models I've ever seen in a game.

Well in my opinion it would be halo3 and metal gear solid 4 BUT...

I have to say, that Gears of War has the best graphics not to mention it's the most fun game ever to play..

But if you include pc - Nothing beat Crysis.

Crysis, it looks more real than anything else. Nothing can really compare to it, the only problem is you need some sort of computer from God or something..

Bioshock and Halo 3 have highly detailed graphics and i think are the best. Halo 3, however has much more fun game play. The graphics are so good, that with a sniper rifle, you zoom in, and a mile away you can see grass move as a misquitoe gets off of it.
