  1. I try to fins a decent pair of trail runners with a good tread.  They don't have to be top of the line (in fact I usually buy the cheapest pair I can find) but the tread is what's going to keep you from slipping on the court.

  2. i would definitely say bare feet

  3. if you don't have ankle braces, get something with proper ankle support. Even basketball shoes would do for this....the tricky part with grass is if it's really dry it gets hard and uneven, so you want to make sure you have good ankle support.

  4. I would go in my bare feet easier to move around and much more comfortable

  5. Having played grass tournaments all over the world, I prefer shoes with the small rubber nubs.  Baseball and football shoes pose a danger to your partners should you step on their foot going to the same ball and bare feet suck in the morning dew.  Do a search for turf shoes and try on a few pair to find something both comfortable and flexible.  I started wearing turn shoes a few years ago in Aspen at "The Motherload" and have worn them ever since.

  6. Try to find one that's an outdoor one that has the soles specifiacally made for grass. I find I like the ones by Mizuno. Depending on the type and brand, they could get rather expensive. If you really don't want to spend a lot, look on eBay or Craig's List.com. If not, try the Mizuno or Asics website.

  7. Aasics for everything, even grass?
