  1. This isn't as tricky as you think!

There are a couple of ways, but here's the way I do it, and how I do it for friends:

-Using a soft black eyeliner (khol pencil) gently line your upper eyelid. It doesn't matter if it's wobbly at this stage.

-Also use the pencil on the inside rim of your upper eyelid and get the pencil right inbetween your eyelashes too (this is easier with a sharp pencil). This will make your eyelashes look lots longer!

-Do the same under your eyes, but keep the line as close to your lower lash-line as possible.

-Using a smudger (a kinda rubber-tipped brush) gently blend the line on your upper eyelid to soften the edges. Keep blending so the dark colour fades to grey over the whole of your eyelid, but so the darkest area is still near your lashes.

-Smudge under your eyes to soften the line, but not too much.

You should now have a dark base that will take your eyeshadow and hold it.

-Now apply your eyeshadow. I like a dark, slightly shimmery colour. If you chose something with a colour in it, you can get a coloured smokey look. With a fine eyeshadow brush, apply colour along your lash line and blend gently upwards over your eyelid. Don't apply too much first time. Remember, you can always add more but you can't take off.

-Put lots of black mascara on (remember to curl your lashes first).

I haven't mentioned lining the inner rim of your lower eyelid. This is a personal thing. Try it and see if you like it. Some people like it black, some leave it natural and some use a white pencil (to brighten the eye) but be aware that it will make your eyes seem smaller to you. I do like it black, I think it completes the look better, but it's totally up to you. Leave it til last to see what you think.

    And there you go!

Don't forget that having such smokey dark eyes takes a bit of getting used to, so you might feel like you look like a 'racoon' at first, but after a couple of hours you'll feel more comfortable with it.

After a few goes at the eye, experiment with colour and tones, matte and shimmer.

    Good luck! You'll look gorgeous.

  2. I have blue eyes and dark hair too =)

The key is try not to over think it!!!

Blend some consealer underneath your eyes..it's usually good to go with one shade lighter than your normal make up to cover any circles.

Cover your eyelid in a dark eye-shaddow,i prefer brown..keep it natural and s**y.Then bend it in a little above the eye lid on the side closer to your ear.

Use a black eye liner pencil and draw a line (medium thickness) going from the outer corner of your eye to where your lower lashes end on the other side make the line get thinner as you head inwards. If your line is too thin keep drawing over it.If it ends up being too thick use a cotton tip to wipe the underneath of the line..this is also good for neatening it up when you're done.

Use an Eyelash curler if you have one. Then coat your upper lashes with 2 coats or mascarra.Followed by coating your lower lashes with one.

    Ready to party!

    =)

  3. try this site http://www.MyFashionLinik.com

  4. use a back eyeliner to go over the edge of the lid, make one straight smooth flowing line. make it thinnerr at the inner of the eye and a thicker at the end. then underneath; sometimes i use a pencil eyeliner and put one thin line under the bottom lashes and the smudge it in with a smudger thing i have. also because you ave blue eyes use a little blue eye shadow or eyeliner at the outer eye.

    hope tht helps.

  5. Prep the lid.  The key to keeping eyeshadow from melting into your eyelid crease as the day goes on is to kept eyelids oil-free. To do this start with an eyeshadow base (also called "primer"). I prefer to dab at bit of MAC's 'paint' on lids before shadow application. Or try Fresh Freshface Perfecting Eye Primer.

    # Apply eyeliner. If you're going for a typical black, brown or gray smoky eye, apply liner in one of those colors above the upper lash line, drawing line thicker in the middle of eye. If your opting for a jewel-toned eye (violet makes a gorgeous smoky eye), line eyes with a purple, blue or deep green liner.

    # Blend in color on bottom lashes For color on the bottom (a key smoky eye look) you'll want a lighter eyeliner. The key is to "smudge it." You can also apply a bit of shadow to get full smudge effect.

    # Apply light base color Again, the key to a smoky eye is pairing a lighter base with the darker hue. I prefer a nice cream shade for my base. Sweep a light, shimmery shadow over the lids to your browbone. I love Stila's whipped eye shadows $20. The moist "mousse" consistency seems to stay on forever. My favorite colors are taupe and pearl.

    # Blend in darker color, but keep dark color below the crease. Now that you have the base and eyeliner on, it's time to get the smoky effect. You need a darker eyeshadow shade. Using an eyeshadow brush blend in color starting at your lash line, blending up. Make sure to blend color into the lash line so the eye liner disappears. Stop deep color at crease.

    # Doublecheck your work Make sure eyes match and blend color with a Q-tip if need be.

    # Finish with several coats of volumizing mascara. Tried and true mascaras (featured in "Elle" magazine's March 2006 issue) include DiorShow Mascara & L'Oreal Paris Volume Shocking Mascara. Elle's writer says they are the best volumizers she's tried.
