Best way to apply to best buy and get hired?

Ok I applied to best buy about two days ago I went to the store and I applied and even spoke to the hiring supervisor and they told me that I did not do well in the personality test and told to apply again and answer everything with strongly disagree or strongly agree so I went back that same day and applied again and I applied doing what they told me but still did not pass and they told me that I could apply again but that after that I could not apply again so I want to know if I could get some tips on what may be the best way to apply to the store because I want to try again.

Ugh. Personality tests are so stupid.

Charles Manson could pass one if he wanted to. You're supposed to strongly agree with statements about teamwork, always having a positive attitude, being willing to help and do as you're told, not insisting on having your own ideas or ways of doing things... any statement that's even remotely servile, you have to strongly agree with.

Anything that smells of individualism, property theft, being annoyed or put out by customers, having to leave early sometimes, having an inflexible schedule, preferring to work independently, second-guessing management decisions, etc., gets a "strongly disagree."

Now. The fact that you've answered honestly and "failed" twice might be a signal for you that you would be pretty miserable working there, because believe me, this rah-rah stuff doesn't end with the personality test during the hiring process. It's how it is to work there. I'm not saying you're doomed if you do get hired, but don't put all your eggs in the Best Buy basket and then get written up fifteen times during your tenure there. Try also applying at independent shops, where the pay is the same but the culture is usually more laid back, you have more opportunity to expand your skills, and raises aren't in ten-cent increments.

Fill out the application, call them at leats a few times a week so they know you really are interested, hopefully then they'll schedule an interview. Do well in you interview and they should hire you.
