Best way to build skirting on modular home?

hay bales around the home works well also home depot sells skirting for modular it looks like metal roofing material but i would still use hay bales behind it for insulation some people use cinder block but it's alot of work and pretty permanent

Hello, the best way to eliminate heaving is to install 4x4's to a depth below the frost line. In our part of the country 42" gets us where we need to be, so check with your local building dept. Once you know how deep to go dig the hole then set the post in and fill the hole with concrete to about 6-10" below the grass level and fill the rest with dirt.The next day you can install the skirting to the posts and that is that.
