  1. we take ours off the window frame, hang them on the clothes line, we then are able to wash both sides easy and the sun dries them quickly

  2. I have dark wooden venetian blinds and due to the fact that I am currently living on a building site (our property was one of the first to be released) they get pretty dusty.  I have found that the only way to get them properly clean is a bucket of soapy water and a cloth and a good half an hour for each blind.  There is no easy way to clean them really.  It's a long and boring task.

  3. just use a soft brush in the slats

  4. Put an old sock on your hand use warm soapy water on it. Then run them along the slats.

  5. hot soapy water and a cloth and i havr cream blinds

  6. I take them outside in the driveway and hose them off. You may have to run a rag over them afterwards, but they get pretty clean this way. You can also clean them in the bathtub, put a thick bathtowel in the tub first, so they don't scratch the bottom. Let them soak for about 15 minutes in very warm water with a little bit of dish soap, then use the shower sprayer to rinse them off. Be careful not to get the box at the top with all the mechanical parts wet. Good luck!

  7. I put soapy water in a bucket then put cotton gloves on. Keeping them on, I dip my hands into the soapy water then run slats between the fingers of the gloves.

  8. venetian duster.
