Question:

Best way to clean concrete slab?

We're going to put bamboo flooring downstairs over the slab.

We first need to apply self-leveling concrete to even out the contours caused by roots, settling over the years. Then we need to put down the vapor/moisture barrier, then adhesive, then lay the floor in.

What's the easiest way to scrape/clean off left over paint and drywall mud, texture mud, old linoleum flooring? We need this done fast, and using a manual scraping tool is just out of the question.

Help!!!!!!!!!!

PS: We're talking about 550 sq ft.

  1. put down a vapor barrier, build a sub floor to even everything out and to keep your wood floor off the concrete on the off chance the whole thing leaks, and lay your new flooring on the new sun floor!!

  2. Floor grinder.
