Best way to clean my glass pipe?

ya know, for smoking tobacco.

also, i heard that boiling it can break it. is that true?

yes, boiling can break it.

If it is the tar from the tobacco, try soaking it in rubbing alcohol. if it is soot, carbon build up from the smoke, try soaking it in water and dishwasher detergent.  (it is made to dissolve food and stuff)

Boiling will break it if you put your pipe in  the water when it is boiling but if you put it in the water will it's cold and then bring it to a boil it will be fine (like an egg).

However, you can still get the gunk outta your pipe by soaking it in lemon juice or  in rubbing alcohol and salt .
