i buy cheap or a little better brushes and then i throw them out. it is beneathe me to clean a paint brush and it should be the same way for you too.

FIRST...whats in the brushes, you tell us that and we'll go from there, it makes all the difference in the world.

Wash them in white spirits, works a treat!!!

depends on what's on them. regular latex paint will come off with warm soap and water(and a little elbow grease) anything else, like wood stain or oil based paint, will need turpentine,mineral spirits, paint thinner. that sort of thing. if whatever was on the brush has dried, get a new one.
