Question:

Best way to cure my bulimia? ?

I cannot seek professional help because my family does not have the money. I don't want to tell my parents because we are stretching to make ends meet as it is and I am scared that this would put even more stress on them. I am also scared that they will try to fix it themselves and they will get frustrated with me. I can't go to a counselor at school because school is out right now and next year I will be at a new school where I don't quite trust the school officials because I don't know them yet. So can someone tell me some of the things that therapists do to help you with your mental disorders? Or some basic ways to help my body image and self esteem? Or anything at all that might help me with my bulimia? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

  2. The thing is you need to get your self a esteem back. You need to be proud of what you look like, how you act, everything. I know that sounds hard to do but really don't listen to who ever is bringing you down. And don't try to make yourself like someone else. You are perfect the way you are.   6. Exercise instead of purging. Basically Exercising is also purging but it doesn't do damage to your body unless done compulsively. Bulimia does not help you lose weight at all. You only fluctuate. Exercising helps lose weight and lifts your mood. So you feel better and your making your body work better and look better.
