  1. go to http://www.fertilityfriend.com

They have several easy charting methods (all free) to help you detect ovulation (no kits). They also have a free online course on detecting ovluation. Good luck.

  2. There are several ways to find out if and when you ovulate:

Calculation: Ovulation and Fertility Charting and Calculator

    Temperature charting

    Cervical mucus

    Mittelschmerz

    OPK Ovulation Predictor Kit

If you have a very regular menstrual cycle cycle, then having a fertility or ovulation calculator and calendar may be helpful.

An additional method checking for ovulation involves checking physical symptoms, such as basal body temperature, cervical mucus changes and others like lower abdominal pains, which are symptoms of ovulation.

  3. you can try charting your temps every morning.  it will tell you that you already ovulated, but if your pretty regular then you can use that for a guide the next month.  check your cervical mucous which should be very watery or amost like egg whites....stretchy when you are fertile (this si only good if you produce fertile CM...I dont so it doesnt work for me)  and another thing...you can get the OPK strips online for much cheaper then the stores.  if you try www.early-pregnancy-tests.com you can get them in bulk for pretty cheap.  its a reliable site and they ship fast.  I ordered from them less then 2 weeks ago and I live in Canada and I got it already.  just an option in case cost was an issue.

  4. Get yourself maybe baby (www.maybebaby.com.au) or some other saliva ovulation test, they work really well and unlike the peeing predictor tests you can re-use them.

The way they work is they come with a small microscope and you spit on the lens every morning before you clean your mouth, you then look through the lens and when your body is ovulating the spit forms a fern pattern because of the hormones.

    Good luck with it.

  5. You can watch your cervical mucus. It goes thru 4 changes throughout your cycle. Below is a website telling you what mucus is fertile. Also you can keep track of your cervical position. You can put your middle finger inside and feel the height, opening, and texture of your cervix. Below is also a site for what is considered to be a fertile cervical position. Also if you have a thermometer you can take your temperature orally or vaginally at the same time every morning before you get out of bed and watch for a temperature spike. Try www.fertilityfriend.com to keep track of all of these throughout your cycle. Baby Dust!

  6. s*x feels better and your body craves it, usually 14 days after the first day of your last period
