  1. You really need to be fitted by a bike shop.  I am 6'2" and only ride a 58cm frame, the same as my 5'11" friend!.  In my case I have long legs/ short torso so I have to ride the shorter frame with a long seat post.  This because as bikes get shorter in height they also become shorter in length.  I need a short bike so I can reach the handlebars comfortably.  Once I was properly fitted at a bike shop cycling became immeasurably easier and more comfortable.  I also became faster.  Preferably a bike shop would use a machine such as a "Fit-Kit" or they should at least watch you ride while the bike is on a trainer.

  2. The best way is to visit a bike shop that sells it, and have them fit you for it.  Always try before you buy with bikes.
