Best way to dispose an older television?

I have a 60" Mitsubishi tube television that took it's final dying breathe. What is the best (and least expensive) way to dispose of it other than trying to lift it up and toss it out my second floor window? The television weighs a hefty 600+ pounds,

Perhaps Goodwill would want it.  I know they have pick up for larger items.

If you have the know how,take it apart bit by bit that way it won't be so heavy.

Call your local Best Buy, they have a TV recycling program, usually is about $100 or less and they will come pick it up too.
