Best way to do tip share in a bar?

Looking for the best way to do tip sharing for the waitstaff. Our POS system does not break credit card tabs down into individual sales and its an open floor instead of sections. Whoever opens the tab gets all the sales but we want to base tips on percent of sales. Any ideas?
