Question:

Best way to dry carpet?

I just cleaned all my carpet, my couch, the recliner, and the chair, now I'm in my living room with nothing to sit on, not even the floor, so my question is what is the best way to get this stuff to dry FAST? And how long do you think it will take for all of our furniture and our carpet to dry?

  1. I sure wouldn't iron it.  At my house, I'd open the windows and turn on the ceiling fan.  I have no idea how long it will take to dry.  I think it depends on the humidity, how wet the stuff is and how many fans you can point.  I wouldn't use a hair dryer or anything like that...too much concentrated heat.  Just the fans.  Maybe you could go to the movies while you wait.

  2. Haste makes waste, isn't that what they say? Haste can also make for some messy accidents, such as spilling a morning cup of coffee on the rug while we're rushing around to get ready in the morning. This isn't a tragedy, however. Like most stains, coffee is easily removed from the carpet . So, if you can't slow down to enjoy your coffee, at least you can relax a little knowing the situation is easily remedied http://www.asesidea.com/how_to_remove_co...

  4. I would try getting a large size fan and leave it on the wet areas. I would also recommend starting with the area/couch that you will use firs.

  5. It depends on how wet the furniture and carpet are ! you could use a fan to speed up the process, you could have waited to do this just before going to bed , this way it would have  dried trough the night.

  6. Whip out your hairdryers and fans and see if that helps.

  7. put it out in your backyard!
