going to a hockey camp soon and haven't skated in 2 months due to a fractured tibia... can't skate now because there's no ice at the arena... (we use real ice... i know, it sucks)

  1. Walk on the treadmill.

Go hiking on a hiking trail.

  2. What i would do is go for runs as often as possible. But other than that, i would do plyometrics, such as squats, suicides, lunges, and such. Ask a coach or someone what they would suggest. I would use a few weights too though, because they do help..

  3. Sprints, Stairs, Box Drills, Bodyweight Squats

  4. If your legs can handle it go bicycling whenever you gotta run some errands. It builds muscle, keeps you in awesome shape, is a great cardio workout and there's bound to be a bike path near you.

Another possiblity is getting a good pair of rollerblades.

Granted the stopping is different - but this way you won't feel the 2 months off as much when you get back on the ice. Also this way you can work on your hockey skills.

  5. walking/jogging stairs

    biking

    squats/squat lunges without weights

  6. I put my legs over a pole at the bend in the knee and I do sit-ups also I rollerblade every day in the summer when its to expensive to go to the rink

  7. runs and sprints box drills and bodyweight squats
