Question:

Best way to gain weight.?

I'm 17. I'm extremely thin. I weigh about 85 pounds and i'm 5'6. I've tried Boost protein shakes and Ensure Plus and all kinds of different things. They've either, made me sick or didn't work. Any suggestions?

  2. Your bmi is 13.7 when it should be at least 19. One site suggested that you should gain 37 pounds and while that is pretty drastic focus on at least gaining 15 for now.

    Since protein shakes aren't working I think you should eat as you normally do but make you're portions bigger. You can still eat healthy but it can't hurt to eat things such as pasta or bread that have a lot of calories. I think you should write down everything you eat (and their calories) for about 5 days. access the results and see try and figure out how many more calories you should be eating.

    If you're really having a problem with it, see your doctor or a nutritionist.
