RER to Chatelet les Halles - then Metro if your destination in the Marais is not near les Halles.

Take the RER to Chatelet-Les Halles, then either walk or hop on the metro.  Depending on where exactly you want to go, you might get on ligne 4, direction Mairie des Lilas and get off at Rambuteau or Arts et Metiers, ligne 1, direction Chateau de Vincennes and get off at Hotel de Ville.
