PEANUT BUTTER! Just later the PB over and around the gum, wait 30 minutes (after putting pb in wash hands!) Then after waiting 30 min pull out gum and PB and voila! But make sure to wash your hair afterwards!

Take a long, hot shower.

Shampoo well, skip the conditioner.

It'll get the majority of the gum out.

After that, haircut!

If it is fresh, use peanut butter.  Apply a dollop on the hair and gum and gently work through.  Hopefully it slides out.

PEANUT BUTTER!! seroisly this works. your hair may stink after wards but thats what a shower is for. and if it still doesnt come out with peanut butter you may have to cut it out.

spread it around it will get most if not all out of your hair... and then put ice on the remaining gum, let it get hard and pick it out

Wrap some ice up in a thin towel and put over the gum or better use one of those plastic ice packs for freezer bags.  Hold it on the gum.  It might take some time but the gum will go hard and you can then break it off in peices.  You might have to keep freezer it though before it all comes out.

Do NOT wash your hair!  The heat and water will just turn it all into a sticky mess.
