Best way to get hired anywhere?

I wanna get a job and earn money. But every time I would turn in a application and then wait. Ive been waiting sooo much for them to call me. I don't know what am doing wrong but I wanna get hired. For Example their hiring people at McDonald's and I turned in an application form twice already and I don't know why they haven't called me. What should I do to make money?

first when you go to turn in a application don't show up in just a t-shirt try to go a little nicer than that. than you can't wait for them to come to you. go back and simply say i turned in a application ( how long ago you turned it in) and was just checking in. or something like that most people look for workers who are serious enough to go back.
