Best way to get poo out of dachshunds mustache?

Ok well Alfie my wirehaired doxie managed to get a nappy bag from the rubbish and ripped it open to eat the nappy full of poo. I caught him just in time, but now he has poo in his mustache and it really smells. Whats the best way to clean him and get rid of the smell? Got no more doggy shampoo, whats the safest way to do this?

Well try combing it out. then get a wet paper towel and wipe it all off......

ha!!! my dog has very similar habits...... I have used some moist hygienic or baby wipes for a fast fix...... oh and hold your breath!!! have fun and good luck :P

trim it off, use human shampoo

You have some baby shampoo for Nina right?

Use that, it's gentle and usually doesn't taste bad since babies like to get it in their mouths.

Do you have some baby shampoo in the house? Give a bath with that...it's very gentle.

Edit 53: have recovered from dying! I'm sure you have just baby wash (just for allover body it's the same type thing...you can use that).

wash rag and some warm water...go at it!!

comb it all out them wash with a SMALL amount of human shampoo , rinse well...poo free pork pooch!!

Get some hot water and plain regular soap oh and if you have an old comb be sure to come out his stach
