Best way to get to Huntington Beach from Anaheim if you don't have a vehicle.?

I'm traveling to Anaheim, CA this weekend for a conference and want to go to a beach. I've read that Huntington Beach is the best and closest beach to go to. I won't have a rental car and am trying to find the best and least expensive way to get to the beach. If a cab is the best option, I'm trying to get an approximate idea of how much it would cost me.
