  1. sprinkle steak seasoning on it then grill it to ur taste


  2. With only a little salt and pepper and cooke to either rare or medium are depending on my mood.

  3. Sprinkle salt on a hot iron skillet and cook to taste ( I like about 2 min each side.) The heat and salt seal in juices.

    Learned that from an old sailor.

  4. Salt, pepper, garlic powder, & chile powder - seared and finished cooking in the oven - it works best for 1 1/2 - 2 inch steaks.   Second best way, grilling.  

  5. On a charcoal grill. I use Italian dressing sometimes to marinate for an hour or two. Then cook to medium rare. Yum!

  6. this is a heartattack on a plate but my mothers secret for melt in your mouth steak, make your own herbed butter and smear a thin layer all the way around the steak.(she softens butter, diced onion, garlic, dried oregano, basil, crushed red pepper, salt and pepper) its really really good, never needs to be dipped..just make sure you cook it on the grill or on a draining rack pan, and let it rest! so the juices redistribute before cutting.

    I often make a compound butter for my steaks.

    EX:

    Use a very low heat. Reduce red wine with shallots until nearly dry. Add to barely soft butter in a mixer using the paddle. Whip it until blended. Just spoon on top of the hot steaks and allow to melt. You can spoon the "Burgundy Butter," on to a parchment and roll it up into a log. Store in refer or freezer. Just cut rings to use when wanted.

  9. Rare is just too raw for most people---the meat is served with a cold center.  

    Medium-rare is just right-----the center is warm and the meat is juicy.

    Medium is OK, with a hot pink center-----it is drier.

  10. Steak best cooked medium rare and cut up garlic and distrubute over the steak with some pepper and salt, parsley and olive oil. Delicious
