Best way to hook up an iPod/iPhone to car stereo?

what's your preferred method of doing this, assuming the car doesn't have an iPod dock? My car's a '07 Honda Odyssey which has no AUX or iPod inputs. So far I've found the USA Spec PA11-HON2y which allows you to use the vehicle's audio controls like track changes.

Get the FM transmitter from Apple for your iPod/iPhone, just connect it to iPod & tune your radio in to have the car's stereo play those songs, works on your home stereo too... anything within range on the same frequency can pick up the signal.

i use an FM Transmitter and it works really well, its easy to set up and the sound quality is pretty excellent. i paid 14 quid for it off play.com

I wouldn't recommend an FM transmitter, yes it will be cheap and easy but sound quality will be poor. There is a good break down of the different options you have for integrating your iPod with your car stereo, with pro's and cons at the Apple Mentor website:
