Any suggestions?

Websites, videos, textbooks, workbooks, any reccomendations are more than welcome!

As well as studying techniques, I'd love some of those too. Thanks!

Cheers, Kyrstin

  1. hi!

It took a few years learning Japanese, learning during one of the most useful tools that I had available to me is the network. Then a list of my favorite sites and that I think are really useful to learn Japanese.

    Dictionaries:

         * Alc: surely the best Japanese-English dictionary, but is aimed at Japanese. It is based on the dictionary commercial Eijiro.

    Kanji:

         * Kanjisite: barely has just over 1,000 kanji explained but it is one of the best sites that I know to be simply reviewing lists of kanji you know it or not.

         * JapaneseKanji.com: This site also is great to revise the plan in kanji flashcards.

  2. good ol' "kakitori".

it's a method practiced in japanese elementary schools.

you write "hiragana" at the left column, write the corresponding "kanji" at the right column.

know use a ruler to hide the kanji column. write the kanji by reading the hiragana on the left column.

    小学校

    しょうがっこう

like the above except make it vertical.

the best way is to write the kanji.
