Best way to paper train my 3 month old puppy?

she is a min pin, daschund, chihuahua, terrier and i want her to be paper trained to go in the house but only on the paper not my carpet

so do you have any tips besause right not i have her in a 3x3 baby cage that i cover entirely with paper but she keeps ripping the paper and she always moves the paper so she can lay on the carpet and i gave her a pillow to sleep on but she will walk on the paper and than go on her pillow and it gets so dirty and she wont want to sleep on it and i want to be able to let her have space to roam but i to want to find surprises all over and i have been letting her out around my room when im there to supervise and she doesnt make a mess but i want her to know that she can only go on the paper so do you have any tips

  1. Puppies naturally don't want to soil where they sleep or eat; that's the idea of using crate-training to help with housebreaking.  If crating isn't an option, it might help to only put paper on one side of her pen, or get a puppy-pad.

  2. A good way to start is to designate a particular area in the house where she is to do her "business". Then regularly take her to this area before and after sleeping, eating and any time you suspect she is about to go. If she does make a mess on the carpet, immediately take her to this designated spot. It will take some time but eventually she will understand that this is where she is to go to the toilet.  

  3. Why would you want to train her to go in the house only?  And not outside?   It is only natural for her to go outside.  You already have a crate, that is half the battle.
