Question:

Best way to purify air?

Our basement feels muggy and the air does not feel very breathable like it does upstairs. It feels very dusty even though there is no dust. I have asthma so this is not good. Is there any spray like febreze that totally freshens the air and takes out all the bad particles in the air like dust, and cat dander. And is there a air filter or any other machine that really ACTUALLY does clean the air from dust, cat dander, and freshens the air making the atmosphere fresh and breathable please name the company and model number of the machine.

We have a walk out basement only half is under ground

  1. Hey! Here are the best Air Purifiers on the market, as voted on/reviewed/rated by everyday people who use them. Favorites seem to be Holmes and Ionic, followed shortly by Sharper Image and HoMedics.

Those are probably your best bet, as I don't think there are any sprays that can clean the air, just sprays that can dissolve odor. We have a dehumidifier in our basement and that works really well for clearing the air, just make sure to clean it out or it will mold!
