Best way to put on BLACK black eye shadow?

I have almost dark brown eyes and I really like dark make up. I can put it on, i just have a little trouble. Can you help?????

vasaline would make it crease

get MACs fluidline in blacktrack and use it as a base

then put matte black shadow ontop

Make sure you have something on your eyelid to make the shadow stick.  Black eyeshadow is the worst for creasing.  I use MAC paint pots as my base.  For black, it might be best to use a darker color or just use a black eyeliner if you want really dramatic black eyes.  Be sure to really blend the lines out to make it look smokey.

Use vaseline instead of actual eyeshadow bases. It's MUCH cheaper and works just as good.
