I have some vacation footage on a MiniDV cassette. I don't have the camera anymore and this is the only MiniDV cassette I have. What would be the least expensive way to transfer to my computer? Is there a service that would do it if I sent it in, should I just buy a cheap camera and hook up to my PC or is there an adapter to VHS?

  1. Or you can borrow or rent a mini DV camcorder. That would be the fastest way instead of waiting for someone else to do it. And sorry no VHS adapter.

  2. You can take it to wal-mart and in the picture developer station tell them to put every thing on a dvd or cd.....or.....you can buy a memory converter that converts minidv and dvd or cd...this would be much more expensive though...i recomend wal-mart...hope i can help:)
