I purchased 5 .380's off the internet to "give" as gifts to my groomsmen in my upcoming wedding. What is the best legal way to go about this?

  1. That depends on the state you live in, and the state(s) your groomsmen live in.

  2. up to what state...In my state Virginia id just give them out...no paper involved..other states may be heII

  3. i would simply just transfer and register the gun to each one of them. simple and gets you off suspision if it should ever be used in a crime, because its their, not your gun.

last, that is an awsome gift to recieve. wish we were friends.

  4. Just do a transfer of ownership.

  5. Depends on your state. In Texas, just keep some records and that's it. In California, they have to be registered through a licensed dealer. Other states fall in between. Look up gunlaws in your state and find out how a private transfer is done. This type of transaction is often referred to by the left as "gun show loophole," just so you know that it's the same topic.

Oh, and is it too late to become one of your groomsmen? I have my own tux :)

  6. I would wrap them in a bow then give them to your groomsmen..........

  7. just give em to them and keep track of their names and adresses
