Question:

Best way to remove paint (specified)?

About 5 years my uncle was painting his walls, and slapped some of the leftover paint on his mailbox. It looked fine for about 6 months. Now i'm sick of the peeling junk...so I'm just wondering how to remove the paint, because the actual colour of the mailbox is black, and it looks fine.

What types of paint removers are there, how to use them (links?) and any brands reccomended? keep in mind i dont want to damage the material under the paint...if that may be a problem.

Thanks

Sameh

  1. find a paint remove perferribly a cheap kind follow the instructions use it then use a puddy knife to scrape the paint off it or you could try it with just the puddy knife first

  2. use 3 parts paint thiner, 1 part water and steal wool
