as soon as you find the mess, wash with warm soapy water, spray with Febreeze disinfectant, and sit the mattress on its side to air dry.  in the future, have the child get up before you go to bed and pee.  use a heavy duty mattress cover on the bed.

bicarb of soda mixed with some tepid water - make a medium thick paste and dab on, blot with clean cold water and clean kitchen towels.

I  can&#039;t recommend a stain remover without knowing the type of mattress you have. I can tell you that &quot;Natures Miracle&quot; which you can buy from any large pet store will remove the odor completely! This stuff is a lifesaver, it&#039;s a safe enzyme that works on absolutely any bad odor. It may also remove the stain, but as I saud I don&#039;t know the type of mattress.~~
