Previous owner had a cat who peed ALL OVER the old carpet. Now my cat has decided to do the same. We've removed the carpet completely and are just curious as to the BEST solution to COMPLETELY CLEANSE the cement floor so it won't happen again.

  1. Nature's Miracle Just for Cats.

    works great!

  2. I had that problem with my cat and the vet suggested month balls in a sock in the areas he peed most. That seemed to work and I also added another liter box in our basement. I showed him where it was. After that I didn't have any more problems.

    Good Luck!!

  3. Alcohol.

spray it on... blott it off and then spray again... leaving it this time.

If you spray it and then put your cat there it will run away.

Remember it is flamible so don't have anything around that will ignight it.

Make sure to put a sand box down there so your cats won't get any ideas.

  4. I suggest that you use 50% bleach/50% water - just make sure the room is well ventilated and use a mask to avoid breathing the fumes. Once that is totally dry I would apply a coat of concrete paint.  Good luck!

  5. I've had this problem previously, tried many cat urine removal products, and vinegar worked the best.
