Question:

Best way to replace a missing golf club?

I looked in my bag this past week and noticed that my 8 iron was missing. I play 2 to 3 times per week, and it just so happened we were moving and I didn't get to play for a week and a half and never noticed it was missing. I've retracted my steps, called the golf course, looked at home, and in my buddies bags. All with no success.

Other than Ebay and Craig's List, what are my options for replacing this club. Ideas welcomed. I've already lost strokes because I don't have this club in my bag. Not to mention I love my 8 iron. Why couldn't I have lost my 4 Iron!!!

  1. just go bye a new one at your local sports store

  2. check golf courses for their lost and found clubs.  local flea markets also always seem to have venders selling used golf clubs really cheap.  i found a ping zing II lob wedge for 5 bucks cause the vender didn't know what type of club it was.

  3. It sounds like you did all the right things.  Some people would rather take the club than turn it into the pro shop.  It is probably not a local person, your club is long gone.

Try the local Golf Discount shops.

  4. golf superstore

have you tried a google search for the specific club?

in the meantime, go hit a few used clubs at the range and get a cheap replacement.

  5. There is businesses have specialize in use clubs ,around the country mostly large cities .the second time sports is one and play it again I think is the other one be better off than the Internet

  6. If your club hasn't been turned in within a few days, it most likely is gone for good. Try surrounding pro shops that sometimes have used clubs for sale. The two that I have had to replace were purchased on EBAY in pretty short order and at a reasonable price.  Good Luck

  7. While you could probably order a new one from your local golf store (or ebay), I'd like to suggest clubfinders.com. They often have what you're looking for at a significantly discounted price. Their specialty is replacing "lost" clubs. You can also call them at 1-888-234-6325.
