Best way to ship 26 Totes== 1000 pounds?

I have 26 rubbermaid totes, all tapes, stackable.

They weigh 1000 lbs. Going from the east coast to the west coast.

Via greyhound package services its 480

Fed ex ground 980

ups 1100

Any way to get discounted rates through fedex or ups??

I cant fathom companies pay close to a grand to ship 1000 lbs of product... What is the secret and or best way?
