Best way to store meat?

I am going polar bear hunting next month and want to know the best way to store the meat for freezing. Is cryovac sealing the best to prevent freezer burn?

if you are keeping it for a long period of time then you should freeze it. if you are only storing it for like a day or two then just refrigerate it. if you can.

I have had great success with my Foodsaver...easy to use and have had no freezer burn for up to one year...There are several models to choose from...I have the middle of the line...
