Yes I know about the SAT Official study guide book also. But what else can you do to get the best possible score that you can?

  1. The best way to improve on SATs is just to practice taking the tests over and over and over again. Buy as many books that contain practice tests as possible, and take them all. Make sure you do them under real test conditions (time limits, break policies, no distractions, etc.) You can study each subject on its own as well. Learn a lot of vocabulary, and you can usually find the vocab that they use in SATs in the SAT prep books. This will help for the filling in the blank vocab portion. For the critical reading, you have to work on strategy. Try reading the entire passage and then doing the questions, and then try reading the questions and searching for the answers within the lines they ask you to look at. Test them both out and see which one is more time efficient and easier for you. For math, practice problems similar to the ones they have on the test. And after you do the questions on a practice test, make sure you go back and review your mistakes and learn how to do them right. That's the best way to study for the SATs...practice, practice, practice.
