  1. putting questions and answers on note cards and study that way

  2. yu cant memberize things

    yu have to understand it.

  3. It certainly depends on the type of test. Try some of these:

    * practice tests (if possible, or anticipate questions/ask teacher)

    * word associations (to learn the word eminent I just remembered that it means "famous" like m&ms)

    * image associations (draw a picture to remind yourself)

    * writing a lyric or word pattern (to remember order/chronology esp.)

    * repetition (including playing a recording in your sleep)

    * outlines

    * teaching (teach it to someone else and it'll help you learn and think about it in new ways)

    * reading out loud (to stay focused, listen for key words)

    * bold terms (use a glossary to make note cards)

    * study buddy (hear another person's perspective, stay motivated)

    Take a test to figure out your learning style so you know how best to study in accordance with how you actually learn and retain information. Try this one:

    And of course...

    * go to class

    * pay attention, take notes, ask questions

    * get a good night's sleep

    * don't cram

    * study in a calm and comfortable atmosphere (maybe play some classical music to lower stress and focus)

    * take breaks in studying (to prevent frustration and allow for retention)
